Moving Education

Terms and Conditions

1. Services

Moving Education provides leadership development, organisational system insight, staff development workshops, restorative facilitation and applied improvisation-based training within educational settings.

All services are agreed in writing prior to delivery and outlined in a proposal, confirmation email or written agreement.

 

2. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once written agreement has been received via email and an invoice has been issued.

The agreed date, time, location, scope of work and fee will be confirmed in writing before delivery.

 

3. Fees and Payment

Fees are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing.

An invoice will be issued upon booking confirmation.

Payment terms are 14 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment is required prior to delivery unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.

4. Cancellation and Postponement

If a session is cancelled:

• More than 14 days before delivery – no fee
• Between 7 and 14 days before delivery – 50 percent of the agreed fee payable
• Less than 7 days before delivery – full fee payable

One postponement may be agreed without charge where rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe.

 

5. Safeguarding and Professional Standards

Moving Education operates in accordance with UK safeguarding expectations for external providers working in schools.

An Enhanced DBS certificate is held and can be presented upon request.

Public Liability Insurance is in place with a £10,000,000 indemnity limit.

All work is delivered in line with appropriate professional conduct and safeguarding boundaries.

 

6. Confidentiality

Information shared during leadership sessions, workshops or facilitated dialogue will be treated as confidential unless there is a safeguarding concern, risk of harm, or disclosure is required by law.

Any written reports focus on themes and patterns rather than identifying individuals unless agreed in advance.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks and facilitation designs remain the intellectual property of Moving Education unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Materials may not be reproduced, distributed or adapted without permission.

 

8. Liability

Moving Education holds appropriate Public Liability Insurance.

Liability is limited to the value of the contracted service.

 

9. Name and Professional Registration

Moving Education is operated by Peter Anderson as a sole trader.

For insurance purposes under Equity membership, the name Peter Albertson is used. This relates solely to professional registration and insurance documentation. All services are delivered by Peter Anderson trading as Moving Education.

 

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
